In 2018, Rachelle (a designer) and Ziyo (a buyer) founded Amente, a Los Angeles based brand. With extensive experience in the fashion industry, they aimed to create a timeless, eco-friendly brand with smaller capsule collections that can be easily mixed and matched.

Amente prioritizes the use of sustainable fabrics, specifically loose and comfortable feminine shapes, to promote their belief in fashion that is durable and not easily disposable. This is achieved through conscious production practices and the use of high-quality, plant-based materials that withstand multiple wears and washes.
